Terms of Service
The agreement between you and LOOKD. It covers your account, what you post, buying and selling, and what happens when a rule is broken.
The agreement
These terms are between you and LOOKD. By using LOOKD you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use LOOKD with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to it secure.
One person, one account. Do not impersonate anybody, and do not represent a brand you have no authority to represent.
What you post stays yours
You keep every right you have in the photographs, video and words you post. We do not claim ownership of your work.
You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting LOOKD, and to let other people see it in the way you chose when you posted it. This licence exists so that we can show your Look to the people you posted it for, and it ends when you delete the content — except for copies we are required to keep, which are described in the privacy policy.
Where you allow a brand to use a Look of yours, that permission is given separately, in the app, and you can withdraw it.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour
There is no tolerance on LOOKD for objectionable content or for abusive users. The community guidelines set out what may not be posted, sold or sent, and they are part of these terms.
You may not post, send or sell anything that breaks those rules. We remove content and restrict or remove accounts that do, and we do so without notice where the harm warrants it.
Everybody can report content and can block another account, from inside the app, at any time. Reports are reviewed and acted on. You will not be told who reported you, and the person you report will not be told it was you.
Attempting to evade a removal or a suspension — a second account, another device — is itself a breach.
Buying and selling
LOOKD is a marketplace. When you buy a piece you are buying it from the seller, not from us. We provide the listing, the payment, the shipping label and the protection around them; we are not the seller and we do not own the goods.
Sellers must describe what they are selling accurately, must actually own it, and must dispatch within the time the app states. A listing that misrepresents a piece — its condition, its authenticity, its size — may be removed and may cost the seller their account.
Buyers’ money is held until the item is delivered and the inspection window has passed. Where a seller does not dispatch in time, or an item does not arrive, or it is not what was described, the money goes back to the buyer.
We take a fee on a completed sale. The fee in force is the one shown to the seller at the time of listing.
Where a sale crosses a border, duties and import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility unless the app says otherwise at checkout.
Advertising and promotion
Advertisers may pay to place content in LOOKD. Anything paid for is labelled as such.
If you run advertising you are responsible for what it says and for the legality of what it promotes, and we may refuse or stop any campaign.
When we act on an account
We may limit the reach of content, remove it, or suspend or remove an account, where these terms or the guidelines are broken, or where we are required to.
You will be told what was decided and why, and you may contest it once. Where a sale is in progress, money already held goes back to the buyer.
You may close your account at any time from Settings.
What we do not promise
LOOKD is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, or that it will be free of errors, or that anything you find here will meet your expectations.
We are not responsible for what other people post, say or sell. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we do; where it does not — and consumer law in many places does not — nothing here takes away rights you have.
Changes, and the law that applies
These terms were last updated on 2026-10-13. If we change them materially we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect, and continuing to use LOOKD after that means you accept the change.
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without affecting any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
